The 3D Robot Builder for the St. Clair College Robotics Curriculum
A dynamic web app that blends an interactive 3D environment with educational framework for robotics learning.

The challenge? Creating a platform where students can actively engage with robotics concepts without the limitations of physical kits, while seamlessly integrating with St. Clair College's existing educational tools. Traditional methods often lack immediate feedback and accessibility, hindering deep learning.
Eugeniuses partnered with St. Clair College to deliver a dynamic web app that blends an interactive 3D environment with the curriculum's educational framework.
Before this project, students faced barriers in robotics education. Physical kits were costly or unavailable, and static learning materials couldn't provide the hands-on practice needed to grasp complex concepts. Our solution is a 3D robot builder embedded within St. Clair College's Robotics Curriculum Portal platform, offering a virtual, interactive space for students to design, build, and test robots.
Key features include an intuitive 3D editor where students assemble virtual components, a comprehensive library mirroring physical kits, and a simulated play mode to test robot functionality. By embedding the builder within the platform, we ensured seamless navigation between lessons, quizzes, and hands-on building.
The result is a platform that empowers students to explore robotics with ease while providing educators with a powerful teaching tool. The 3D editor invites creativity, letting students experiment with designs in a risk-free virtual space. The simulated play mode brings their creations to life, showing how designs function in real-world scenarios.
